Nouvelle Vague is Oscar-nominated director Richard Linklater’s love letter to the spellbinding magic of French cinema, reimagining the making of Jean-Luc Godard’s revolutionary Breathless, which ultimately cemented Godard as a pioneer of the French New Wave. As critic-turned-director Godard makes and breaks the rules, a mix of fresh faces and daring talents — including Zoey Deutch as Jean Seberg, Aubry Dullin as Jean-Paul Belmondo, and Guillaume Marbeck as Godard himself — bring his spontaneous, electric film to life. Capturing the youthful dynamism and creative chaos at the heart of one of the world’s most beloved and influential movies, Nouvelle Vague transports us to the streets of 1959 Paris for an ode to the power of cinema to transform our lives.

A modern, art-stricken love story, told in three parts.
Lizzie and Lucas moved quickly from first date, to first time together; from first fight, to first “I love you”. Now, years into their relationship and deeply rooted in each other’s lives, there comes a question: what do we need to feel whole?
WHAT YOU CAN’T KEEP is a tender, poetic, and humorous exploration of modern love, told in three lyrical acts. Written by Harrison David Rivers and directed by Tyler Michaels King, this “meet-cute-meets-art-house” film follows Lizzie and Lucas—two young artists whose relationship blooms fast and burns bright, then slowly complicates under the weight of time, memory, and self-discovery.
From their alluring first encounter to the intimate complexities of long-term love, WHAT YOU CAN’T KEEP unfolds in a series of raw, sharply observed moments—confessionals on past love and losses while finding hope for the future. As Lizzie and Lucas navigate the highs of infatuation, the heartbreak of growing pains, and the quiet question of whether love alone is enough, the film delicately captures the poetry of ordinary life and the yearning of human connection.
Shot over five years, this deeply personal trio of short films reflects the evolution of both its characters and the artists behind them. At once hilarious and heartfelt, familiar and fresh, WHAT YOU CAN’T KEEP invites us to ask: what remains when nothing is certain, and what do we hold on to when we let go?

Oscar-winning director Guillermo del Toro adapts Mary Shelley’s classic tale of scientist Victor Frankenstein. A brilliant but madly scientist, obsessed with bringing back to life a monstrous creature in an experiment that ultimately leads the creator and his beyond-the-grave creation to a tragic finale. Starring Oscar Isaac as Dr. Frankenstein and Jacob Elordi as the creature, Del Toro’s reimagining of Mary Shelley’s Gothic classic has been a 30-year journey for Del Toro who’s said he’s wanted to make this film since he was a child.
In his Director’s statement for the Premiere at the Venice Film Festival, Del Toro explained his fascination with Frankenstein: “Mary Shelley’s masterpiece is rife with questions that burn brightly in my soul: existential, tender, savage, doomed questions that only a young mind allows and only adults and institutions believe they can answer. For me, however, monsters alone hold the answer to all mysteries. They are the mystery. So Frankenstein is a blessed enterprise moved by reverence and love for both mystery and monsters.”

ABOUT THE FILM
After a series of plagues and wars leaves society in ruins, the Freemans are surviving — even thriving — on a farm in the middle of nowhere… so long as they repel the occasional raiding party. Former soldier Hailey (Danielle Deadwyler) and her partner Galen (Michael Greyeyes) fled the collapse along with their children, training them to fight (and, yes, kill). But now Hailey’s eldest Emanuel (Kataem O’Connor) is a young man, and when he meets a young woman (Milcania Diaz-Rojas) in the forest beyond the fence, his need for human contact could place the whole family in jeopardy.
