Minnesota on Film, presented by In the Lab with Adam Bartley, is a celebration of Minnesota actors, filmmakers, and the incredible creative community that helped bring this project to life.
This screening features 14 original film scenes starring 28 Minnesota actors, filmed by an all-Minnesota crew. Each scene was created through the inaugural session of In the Lab, an on-camera acting experience designed to give actors the opportunity to do meaningful scene work while walking away with beautifully shot, professional-quality footage they can use for their acting reels.
Adam Bartley (Longmire, NCIS: Los Angeles, This Is Us, Annabelle: Creation) is a professional actor and director working in Hollywood who has been coaching and working with actors for more than 20 years. A Minnesota native, Adam created In the Lab as a way to bring his professional experience back home and help Minnesota actors explore, shape, and capture their work at a high level.
This is the very first iteration of In the Lab, and Adam is thrilled to share the remarkable work created by these actors and filmmakers with the broader Minnesota film community.
In the Lab returns this January. Actors interested in participating in the next session can learn more and join the list at InTheLab.org.
