Emmet Kowler of Sloppy Discs in conversation with Ross Clowser [@rossclowsermusicindustries].
Two young lovers sing their way through the everyday turmoil of midcentury France. Jacques Demy’s prismatic masterpiece of the French New Wave features the melancholic music of Michel Legrand; a star-making performance by Catherine Deneuve; and stunning cinematography, costumes, and production design that beg to be seen on a big screen. For fans of In The Mood for Love, Moulin Rouge, and the films of Damien Chazelle.
